Outside a Hong Kong dress shop:

In an advertisement by a Hong Kong dentist:
Teeth extracted by the latest methodists.

From Copenhagen - in an airline ticket office:

There were so many signs in Japan that made us crack up. Unfortunately I'm having preggo brain at the moment and can't think of any :rolleyes: :D

Those folk at least have the excuse of ESL....the LA Times runs a daily piece on language abuse...I'll look for some of them..

LOL! Oh, and some of the signs/posters our ethnic greengrocers have outside their shops - hilarious! :D However, we all know what they mean. ;)

I saw a sign at a toy store in Cape May once:

"Don't feed the furbies"

and another in Cape May

"Don't touch children"

It had those fake children that are supposed to look like they are playing hide and seek, and I guess and hope that is what they ment. :eek:

These pictures I took in towns around here... very funny!

When I was kid, there used to be bus stop signs stuck in the ground.
They were about 3 feet high, coloured yellow, and had big black letters reading from top to bottom BUS STOP. The schoolkids used to get yellow paint and block out/ alter some of the lettering, so that it read PIS OF.

Oh, and on a bus window there was a message reading 'Break glass with hammer', only someone had scratched off the letters so it read 'Break ass with ham' !!!
