If I seem to "disappear" it is because my computer monitor is being VERY uncooperative! I suppose I need a new one. :(
Just thought I would check in while I still could.

At least its not the modem which is much more expensive.
I hope that you can find a replacement so we can see all your Clowder and Fosters.
Well, good luck, and at least monitors have gotten both better and cheaper!
Jen, I'm sorry to hear this.:( I hope that you'll be able to find a replacement before yours stops working.
Well, I don't know how much monitors USED to cost, but I can't find one I can afford. I went shopping today because mine REALLY acted up this morning. I am not sure it will ever work again. :(
Right now I am at my dad's. But that means I won't be able to do any computing until Monday when I visit dad again. :(
OMG! I am going to have withdrawl BIG TIME!
I hate being poor. :(
Average price $150 to $200 for 17 inch monitors.
Circuit City has good prices. 17 inch monitor for $149 on line (you can purchase on line and pick up at their store).
Hmmm, do you need a NEW one? Could you pick one up on craigslist? I sold one for $25 about a year ago; it worked fine, I just had purchased a new package, PC, monitor and all complete. I sold it through our local weekly city newspaper. (The old PC died, so that was junked.) Just a thought.
Thank to Jennie (Jenn_Librarian) I will have a new monitor set up by tomorrow! WooHoo!! I was crazy when I could not log on this morning.
As pathetic as it sounds, $150-$200 is just too much to part with at this time. :( Other things simply HAVE to come first.
So THANK YOU Jennie!
She's wonderful isn't she?
And being computerless is the PITS! Congrats on getting your situation fixed.
Oh stop it!!! My mom got a new computer a month or so ago and had her monitor left from the Gateway. No one was using it (I have a Mac, so can't use it), and I was up there today so I grabbed it, lol. I don't like people fussing over me. It's embarrassing. :o
I'm human, and I like to help my friends, cause they'd do the same for me if I needed help too.
By the way... I could use a really handsome, cat loving and intelligent handyman around the house. Anyone have one of those lying around somewhere?! :D He should be at least 25, and hopefully not over 40. ;)
Richard? Witty, cat lover, clever, and attractive in his lovely shaggy way!Quote:

Age - I don't know. 23? Twice?
Who's Richard?
I guess I should say UNDER 48.
I keep forgetting I'm 37. Ugh.
He's the one who has lost his mind.Quote:
