Ok I figure my rabbit it a mix but any idea what its mixed with? I always called it an american rabbit and when I bought her I dont even think it had the breed written down..

How big is she? How old is she? One thing is for sure, she's Dutch-belted!
She is alittle over a year and I would say around 5 pounds maybe alittle bigger. she is a alittle heavy if you hold her for awhile. Is dutch belted a breed?Quote:

Dutch-belted is just a way to describe her distinctive coloring. But she, upon a little research is most likely a Dutch bunny - which is a breed.

Hmm I never thought of her to be a dutch, I always thought she was just a mix of a few different breeds.
I"m 100% sure its a Dutch Rabbit! Dutch rabbits are fairly small in size, a little bigger than a dwarf though, and they usually have two rings of white going aroudn their body, in your bunnies case, it doesn't seem to have a second ring, but you can definately tell its still a Dutch possibly with a another breed in it as well.

I agree she looks pure Dutch to me. The body,head,legs and colours all yell out Dutch.
