hairball remedy question

I would like to know, especially from anyone who feeds the raw diet to their cats, do you need to use a hairball remedy?

I fed Science Diet for 12 years, and had to use a hairball remedy weekly.

In January, I switched over to Chicken Soup for the Cat Lover's Soul, which is a much higher quality food.

I just realized last evening I haven't "dosed" anyone with the hairball remedy in months, and no one is coughing up hairballs - AND THIS IS SHEDDING SEASON!!!!

I can only think the food is what is making the difference. Any thoughts?

It could very well be the food not making hairballs. However, it's start of shedding season, paws are crossed for you that no hairballs come up. No pun intended LOL

What ever works is great news and we are glad that there are no hairballs to pick up.
Thats wonderful that a change of Cat Food does the trick.
