I'm 50% scottish and 50% olde English. Some of my relatives came over on the Mayflower, and I'm a direct line decendant of Miles Standish (and two convicted salem witches!=x). My mom does geneology so it's kinda cool.
I'm 100% dutch! :)
100% German on my fathers side going back 700 years and over 300 on my mom's.
Woops, sorry, Karen. Didn't see the other thread. :o
On my maternal side French on Paternal French and Blackfeet
Kay, if you ever decide to go to college, look for scholarships based on heritage. There are TONS out there for Cherokee Indians - 1/8 or better will most likely grant you full tuition and plus some! Cherokee Indians are so rare to find because our ancestors never told anyone about their heritage - they became ashamed of it. During the time that they forced out of their own land, lots of them just hid and never told anyone.Quote:

I'm cross breed lol,
My dad is Ojibway with a tiny bit of German and my mom is a pure yugoslavian along with the rest of her silbings. (SP?)
My dad's folks came here from Sicily.
My mom was English. True, loyal, English all the way. When I started doing family tree research, I discovered one of HER grandparents was from Italy. He he. Shocked the socks off her.
So I am English, Italian, and Sicilian. But my coloring and tendencies are Sicilian. I got that red hot temper. I love to cook using lots of spices and herbs. My brother is English all the way. Light coloring, prefers bland food, geesh!
And for those who may wonder, Sicilians never consider themselves, Italian.
my dad is 3/4 Irish, 1/4 Scottish and my mom is Finnish, however this one is debatable at exactly how much Finnish lol her father was shipped to Sweden as a baby during the war and doesnt remeber where he was actually born, but he grew up Swedish/Finnish despite not being born as such so that is what we call him :p
