Rescued a tortie today

In the midst of all the insanity involving my own cats, see here, I haven't really been able to do much for the neighborhood ferals. I'm just hoping that they're smart enough to stay out of any Animal Control traps. :(

But today I was able to catch a darling little tortie who's been hanging around and get her into a no-kill shelter. I didn't have time to take pictures, but she's a cutie. And so sweet! She was easier to get into the carrier than my own cats are! She can't be a feral--undoubtedly someone abandoned her.

So at least she'll have a chance at a good life. I'm sure someone will fall in love and adopt her.

You are a true cat lover, and so am I . . . we realize that it is impossible to ignore and not act when a cat situation presents itself . . . I hope the tortie will have a home to call her own. She probably had a hunch you were trying to better her life, and that is why she was so carrier-cooperative. ;)
