Having an entire house covered in tile floors is a cleaning nightmare but a kitty's best friend!! The tile by the doors here gets nice and toasty warm in the afternoon and Boomer loves to come out and sunbathe during Tyler's naptime :D

I find the tile easier to clean than a carpet. Cats make themselves comfy on every surface!

I Would Retile The House Iffen I Had The Money If It Would Make The Found Cats As Happy As Thier Friend Boomer Is.
The only reason that I think the tile is more difficult to clean is that it gets gritty from dust within hours of being mopped! When we had carpet I could go for a week or two without vacuuming but here if I want to be able to walk barefoot I have to sweep daily!

Have you tried the SWIFFER brand products? They work wonders for tiled floors!!! Both my kitchen and bath are tiled floors and if it weren'tfor the Swiffer stuff, I wouldliterally have to get on my hands and knees to make sure all the lint,hair and crumbs were picked up!!

Boomer sure looks very happy happy and content here.:) You're lucky. I wish that all of my floors were tile or some other hard surface.
