I think so. Our vet has a office cat that he lets run loose. If you pick him up, he will suck on your clothes and when he is done, you have a real big wet spot. I am always dissapointed when I leave dry.... that means I didn't see him.

I Have Heard Of Siamese Cats Sucking On Wool, And That Can Be Bad For Them, And Sometimes If A Cats Waened Too Soon They Will Look For A Mamma Cat Substitute.
No One At The Found Cat Hotel Does That As Far As I Know.
thanks i looked at that thread she dosnt chew she sucks as if she is feeding from the mom but she wasnt weaned very early she was about 6 week's something like that she has done it since she was little.I just always wanted to know why :confused:
my cat soes this she drives me insane lol. She does it as tho shes nursing while neading with her paws. If you find a solution let me know! :)
yeh she does need with her paws as well it dosent
bother me its just when they catch the skin

When we first got CC, he sucked on our blankets for a little while, but then stopped once he got older. I think it is just for comfort. :)
My newest kitten Moxie who is about 6 months old now sucks on my hand. She has from the day I found her out in the yard at about 4-5 weeks old. I'm guessing it is because she was taken away from her mom too soon but we had to because the mom cat was a feral cat afraid of humans and we were afraid she would move the kittens and make them feral.
