I'm Engaged!!

I just wanted to tell everybody on General on Pet Talk that my boyfriend Kevin proposed to me on Valentines day and I am now engaged!
I woke up in the morning and there as a rose by the side of my bed, and a little white box with a glass token in it, it had a heart and the words 'Marry Me' inscribed on it.
Then I got out of bed, he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him, and of course I said yes! :)
It's a very special moment that I will remember for the rest of my life.
I then had a valentines card with Fiance' written on it, (good job I said yes!!)
and inside he had written, to my true love, my soulmate and now my wife to be'.....
Could I be anymore lucky to have a man like him :D

My husband proposed to me on Valentine Day -- nine years ago. He had a red limoge box and a Chinese fortune cookie slip inside asking me to marry him! (However, for some reason his parents had decided to come to town that weekend and stay with us...rather inhibited the celebration.)

We haven't set a date yet, at the moment I just want to enjoy the moment of being engaged. It's a really nice feeling. :)
We would like a quiet wedding though when we do eventually get married.
Perhaps we'll elope ;) hehe
