Blackie's Memorial

Even though Blackie was a stray, he was my friend. He was like my own little cat of my own. I remember the days he would wait out on the porch for Angel and some food. I remember how he and Angel played together. Now, he's gone...

One night, Blackie came up to our house. Oh...he looked awful. His whole face and neck was ripped apart. We let him in our house. Everyone thought Blackie was attacked by a dog or got hit by a car. The wounds and cuts were far too harsh to of been attacked by the neighborhood cats. My grandma called the ASPCA to come and get Blackie. We gave him some food and water. We put him in the cat carrier with a comfy towel. He wouldn't touch any food, he wouldn just lay there. He must of been too weak to move. The ASPCA man took Blackie away. My grandma thinks Blackie came to die with the people he loved, instead of dieing under a bush like some cats would...

Blackie was more to me than anyother kitty. He was kind and gentle. Even though he wasn't the prettiest of all cats, he was special. Oh...I hope they could of fixed Blackie. I really do. Blackie deserved many more years to live on this Earth, but...it was really bad. I try to thnk Blackie is fixed and found a new and loving home, but it's hard to believe.

Good luck at the Rainbow Bridge. Everyone will miss you a lot even Angel. I will miss you much and I will never ever forget you :(

aww thats a shame I hope Blackie gets better soon too. He seems like a great pet. Was he a pet of yours or a family member?
