Chip and Dale
If you read the thread like good little boys and girls I might get you some photos tomorow. :p (LOL - I crack me up : D )
Anyway...........
The boys had their rabies (and last distpemer) vaccines today. They are about 16 weeks old and just a bit over 4 pounds. Chip has a slightly sore shoulder (as the vet warned might happen). And I know that some cats go off feed for a day or two after the rabies shots, so I hope they keep their appetite.
The sad news for me is that this Sunday I am sending them to Petsmart's adoption center. :( It is what needs to be done. The boys are not getting enough "people" experience here. They are too much "Mama's boys". At the center, MANY volunteers will be handling them and taking care of their needs. They NEED this experience. And they need the "exposure" too. They are just not getting the proper attention by only being on petfinder.com. Even the newspaper spot only brought 3 callers. And none of them went through to adoption.
So I will get current photos during this week. And I will no doubt be bringing home new fosters with me on Sunday. I pray those boys find a TERRIFIC home!! (any PT takers????) If not, they will just have to come back here, right? ;)

LOL!!!! You crack me up also Jen. I just LOVE your sense of humor. Please, don't ever lose it. :D
Awww Jen. I know it must be hard for you to part with these sweet little bottle babies that you helped raise and did a very good job of doing so, but, you do have to make room for the next one or two or three that need you.
I hope all goes well at the adoption center and that they both find their new forever homes. I don't see how anyone could resist them.

I am sad at the thought that we may stop hearing about them and seeing their pictures. My hat is off to you that foster and have to let them go.. I couldn't do it....
-
Oh I know that is going to be hard for you. I bet once they are out in public like that they will get snatched up quickly.
I look forward to seeing some pictures, pretty please!
