8 months now...

On this day, 8 months ago, Lucy Inara hatched. She came into our lives 4 months later and being first time snake owners, we couldn't be more happier with our choice.

Lucy has a wonderful temperament, eats great, no shedding problems, and is an all around lovely girl.

I took those photos a couple of weeks ago after her second shed. She's starting to develop quite a bit of yellow towards the front of her body. :) I can't wait to see what she looks like as an adult. :D

I used to have a Albino corn that was eactly like her and she was so friendly. But I was a first time snake owner and had the wrong lid and i guess I didn't have enough weights on it and she got out and I never found her:(

is Lucy a corn snake? My friend has a snake, puppy(lol), that looks almost exactly like her except for the eyes and she is a corn snake

Sorry to hear about your snake buttercup. Snakes are notorious for being escape artists. We have a sliding locking lid on Lucy's tank. She'd have to be houdini to escape and we haven't really seen her try, so I guess we've been lucky.

Yea she definately looks like a cornsnake. I would love to get a corn snake... But some people in my family wouldn't like that too much./...
