I think that is just markings like a birth mark.

Wonderful picture!!! I can almost smell the kitty breath and hear him purr. Makes me want to give him a big old kiss and headbumpie.
I would like Miley to "take up" with Fister and travel through the ALPS or some place like that. I just love Fister's "look".... don't mind the little discolorations on his lip. Think of them as character marks.
