The numbers are out.. (I was shocked to see breeds that were lower in registrations than the Borzois)... The list is amazing and a real eye looker.. http://www.akc.org/reg/dogreg_stats.cfm

Whippets are 60. haha, I don't even see greys on there. :P
Greyhounds are 136... Makes me wonder if the racing dogs are added or registered by the kennels in the AKC... hmm....
98 Setters (English)
100 Retrievers (Flat-Coated)
I didn't know both of my dogs are so close together.

Rottweilers moved down one.

Westminster is in around 2 weeks! I'll be flying out there soon. :D
Hoping to photograph a lot of the breeds there.
The last year I checked, labs and retrievers were 1 & 2. I didn't realize Yorkshires moved up the list so much.
I have a miniature dachshund, #6 on the list. He's getting old though. :(
Tollers are #110 (three up from last year). I hope they stay unpopular for a long, long time.
I would not worry about it.. considering the ranking in borzois is like 695 dogs or close to it- and they were at their ranking- I would not worry about it.Quote:

136 Greyhounds 134
they are on the list! LOL
however I am thrilled to see my rotties and the dobies sliding down the list, which is even better for them!
Poodles: #8 and steady. :)
