[The 'Tiel] Pics
Hey there! I know it's been...a VERY long time since I shared pics of Tiki, my 'tiel. He's doing really good...but I can't take him too far from his cage, he has full flight (I really need to get him in to clip his wings!). Just a quick question...how easy would it be to introduce another tiel to him? Is it usually okay? Is it better to introduce another male, or a female? Anyways, here's the pics-he kept giving the camera "the 'tiel eye" if you guys know what I mean :) :

I love the 'misting bath' photo. He's so adorable!
I don't know much about birds ~ but I would think it would be relatively easy to introduce another Tiel, and I'm guessing a female would be easier than a male.

He's so handsome! I love the 4th picture. =]
Haha, and Lilly(my (well, actually my dad's) cockatiel) loves the toy Tiki is standing on in the first picture, since we bought one for her. She'll play with it for hours!
In my experiance, for relatively calm birds like Tiels(& budgies), they're not hard to introduce at all. Just don't forget to put the new bird through quarantine first. You wouldn't want to bring a disease into the flock by accident.
With most of the birds I've worked with, sexes didn't really matter. Though, of course, all birds are different.
If you need details on how to introduce birds, just PM me. =D I've introduced lovebirds here at the house, and countless species at the store, so I pretty much know the drill.

Aww he is so pretty! Ever since I had a tiel cuddle into me at a petstore i've always wanted one! Someday i will get one too. Your tiel is so pretty and looks really happy:) Great pics thanks for sharing them with us.

He's pretty I have a boy that looks just like him. You should introduce them slowly and watch them together to make sure they won't fight. Unless you want them to have babies you should get another male. If you get a female they will surely have babies very soon. Males get along with each other really well.
