I have a 6 month old male kitten (I also have the mother) who has since been spayed. And 2 male Golden Reteriver's ages 2 and 14 months. Ok here goes the kitten has ben nursing on the 2 year old dog. This is wired the dog does not mind at all and he(kitten) sucks for hours......ok is this normal????????
Hello I called the vet and this is very normal, so I fell better now. They are so close........

Does the mother cat do anything about it???
Nope the mothers just walks away.....I do to it makes me feel wired!
I had a friend who had a chihuahua that would nurse foundling kittens, even if she wasn't lactating. Some pets just like to "mother" any thing they can get their paws on :D
That's cute--I've seen it happen on tv before lots of times. It's very common if they are very close! I also saw it with a cat nursing some puppies before and a dog nursing a raccoon. Animals can be so sweet!
