I have to ask you guys - how does your Mum teach you to lay down with your chin touching the ground? I'd like to teach Snowy to do the same - cute for photoshoot :D

It works great for photoshoots ;) I like to teach them everything by shaping personally, so I'll sit and wait until they do something that I want, mark it with a yes (or a clicker) and treat. Soon they start to offer that behavior and you can put a command name to it. Or you could use a "forceful" method, rest your hand on top of their head and lure their head down with a treat and repeat. Hope that made some sense! :)
