Pua Hanging out

Pua napped in the cat condo while we had dinner. She stuck her head out occasionally and yawned till she knew I was there and came out.

She likes to pick at the edges but it is a scratching post.

Pua is so sweet! I would love to hold her. I loved the picture of her tongue, what an incredibly long tongue! Then the picture with her tail wrapped around your arm, that is just so sweet.

She is a very unusual, and unique, I bet you have lots of fun with her.

Haha, that's a good question! I was wondering that too. I was also wanting to know how long her tongue is:p

Pua is the most awsome pet i ahve ever seen, and cannot get enough pics of her!! she is too adorable!! i just wanna scritch her belly!!;)

OMG! Look at that tongue! *giggle* I just love Pua! :) She certainly does have a good grip on your arm with her tail there ;) Her little ears are just darling.

She doers eat ants if she finds them in the nest on walks and termites. It isn't feasable or healthy to make that the main captive diet. Studies have shown that. Rescues did poorly when brought nests of termites from the wild but did much better on a formulated diet. A large potion of my research was on diet.

she gets a gruel of, chicken breast, liver, shrimp, feeder insects, eggs, flaxseed, red beans, spinach, bananas, acidic fruits(kiwi, grapefruit) and a few other things but that's the main stuff.

Sometimes some powdered food mixed with that, cat food, dried spinach, powdered beans, flax.

oh yeah the tongue is about a foot that sticks out. the whole thing is longer. Their tongue goes though a special passage and anchors to the bottom of the sternum.

Yeah her tail is like an extra limb she can even lift herself with it if she's against a wall or something to balance
