Actually it wasn't that bad because I got it on eBay. I won the auction for $.99 and then had to pay a large shipping cost but my total was under $80 shipped. The fabric is some kind of fake fur and may not last as long as a carpeted tree but I can probably recover it when needed.

What a great cat tree! It certainly DID meet inspection! :D I'm so glad to see Rocky, Rumor and Jazz up there with the babies!!! One big happy family! :)

Oh yes all 7 have approved.
E-bay is a great place for cat trees....I got most of mine from them as well.

Great find and buy on Ebay, I always look on ebay for stuff for Jack & Sunny, I've bought them two litter trays (the funky cat shaped ones I put photos up of before) a turbo ball toy, catnip mice, catnip, posh collars, laser toy and russel tunnel. You usually find things like that cheaper.
The covered litter trays were cheaper than in Pets at home.

That's the best cat tree I've seen yet.And they all look great(your cats).
So happy healthy and all loved. It shows!Your home is so beautiful.
