Happy New Year, PTers! Sorry, I have been MIA for a couple months. I have missed this place.

Anyway, I had some Kirk pics I wanted to share. He's 9 months old already! He needs to go in this month for a follow up with the surgeon. We still need to figure out what we are going to do for his left side. Most likely a FHO. He is favoring the left side, and I'm sad that he's painful despite everything we are doing for him. :( I'm hoping to start some hydrotherapy soon (if I can afford it). I'm guessing surgery might happen as early as Jan or Feb. We'll have to see what Dr. Y says. Please keep good thoughts coming! I hate that he has already been through so much in his short life...

I call this video: It's always greener on the other side of the fence….
I was sorting Kirk's plushies and other toys because the population has exploded since Christmas. I had them all in a pile next to the doggie gate. Even though he had at least 6 toys on his side, he was reaching through to get this one little piggy toy. The best part was when he tried to use his tongue, but I didn't get that on video! It was nearly prehensile, I swear! I was laughing so hard!!
Anyway, he finally got his little piggy as you will see. :)

Kirk is so cute! Very nice pics! I'm sorry to hear he's still having pain. I will keep him in my prayers that all goes well with his next surgery.

He's such a beautiful boy! I hope he'll be better soon and out of pain, poor guy. I'm glad you stopped by, I was wondering where you and Kirk went to and how he was doing. :)

It is great to hear from you Kate :D. Kirkie sure has grown into a handsome smart young man... you must be proud of him. I will continue to send good vibes Kirks way, hopefully you will know soon what the vets want to do next.
