Hey, that's nice! Every once in a while, politicians can do something right, eh? I sure hope that helps enourage fostering. and the more folks who foster, tne more widespread the need becomes and others will adopt rather than buy and . . . . Oh boy! Nice of you to post this!
The little orange kitten in the 2nd photo is so adorable.
:D Harper can do something right! How nice of you to post this, I agree. Thanks! :D
PT should write a newspaper. I always get my news from PT. It's like a filteration system, it cuts out all the boring articles. ;)
When I was living in Sunnyvale, CA I voted for one city council candidate because I had seen him making balloon animals at a neighborhood picnic. (It suggested that he had the hot air befitting a politician AND that he knew the proper use for it! :D ) I say any man who loves tabbies can't be all bad. :)

That was a major step for fostering in Canada! Let's hope his example inspired many, many others to do the same. My hat would be off to that man if I wore one!
The Found Cats all want to know when they are voting.
I told them that I would cast our Vote for Mr Harpers Team, as we pray that more Pets can find Furr Ever Homes!
This is wonderful! Thank you for posting it, Candace.

Apparently the Harpers are big cat lovers and have been fostering for some time. Mrs. Harper shows up at Humane Society functions quite often.
Aww! Cheddar is a cutie! Who could resist that golden face? :D
How wonderful! He really looks like a nice man and like he truly does love the kitties! You can usually tell if a politician is staging a pose, but this man looks genuine!!! :D Maybe some of the others will follow suit!
Thanks for sharing this, Candace!
