Why cats should sleep under Christmas trees

Our Christmas tree at home was put in a playpen when Gracie the Great Dane was the canine in residence. She didn't want to sleep under the tree, she just had no idea where her tail was and what it was thwacking at any given moment, so the tree was safer "behind bars."

However, our cats did do the same thing to our tree last year :rolleyes:
