Blanket Sucker..

Ok Tuxie.. He is about.. a year and a half..He Loves to suck these to blankets we have.He grabs it in his mouth purrs and moves his little leggies up and Down!Is this Normal?? Or what :confused:

Augustus does the exact same thing! I'm pretty sure it's just a comfort thing, I wouldn't worry. :)

It could be harmless but there's a chance that it could be wool-sucking. This is a compulsive disorder in cats which is quite common, but really it's not too hard to manage. However, if the cat is allowed to wool suck too often, it can ingest the material which can become impacted in the stomach or intestine, and this requires surgery to remove. If you just keep an eye on your cat when he's doing this though, I'm sure it'll be no problem.

Aww my cat, Gypsy does that too! She has 'her' blanket that she's constantly sucking. They're so cute when they're doing that!

It's cute...But it irratates my mother :p . I dont mind but she does..And thanks..

I know! Chester does the same thing with this fuzzy white blanket we have! He looks so cute when he does it! :D
