Can anyone tell me how to properly measure for collar size? I'm getting new collars for the M&M's from 3 Dirty Dawgz, but I'm not sure what size(s) to order.
Thanks in advance!

I just measure around the base of the neck (where the collar sits), and add an inch or two. Tango can fit into the small with a bit of adjusting room left over aswell as a medium with lots of adjusting room left over in her collars from 3 Dirty Dawgz. I'd imagine Molly is probably close to the same size just going by pictures, so she'd probably need a medium.
I measure about two inches behind the ears. The reason is my breed- they have a long neck and if you measure farther down, which gets into the muscle of the that powerful neck, the collar will be capable of going over those tiny ears. I also use nylon martingale collars as they are less likely to go over the head.Quote:

Then I add 2 inches for a normal dog. What type of collar are you looking for? Buckle, martingale, nylon choke, etc?
