Three Little Rascals went to the vet

Well my 3 little "foster" kitties are older than I thought. The vet says they are 8 weeks old. :eek: I had Twinks (Twinkle Toes) test for FeLV and it came back negative but my vet still recommends having all three tested. Any way Twinks weighed the most surprisingly at 1 lb 12 oz, Pops at 1 lb 11 oz and Moxie at 1 lb 6 oz. They got their first vaccination and dewormer.

All my prospects for homes for them have fallen through but the crazy cat lady where Richard works has offered to take them and find them homes. She's done it before with some rescues.

I'm very attached to Moxie but I want to keep them all!!!! How do you guys who do fosters and rescue do it??

Why do you think we have 27?!! :D We get way too attached and that's why we do not like to foster. Congratulations on the success of your rescues. Any sign of mom?

LOL, you are not a good role model for me!!!!

We spotted something darting out of site one day last week and something has been eating the food I put out but I've seen one of he neighbor's cats out there now (not the gray daddy) so it may be him or the raccoons. Luckily that cat is neutered. I have a feeling momma has moved on but I'm not sure so I will keep looking and putting out food. I just can't believe her babies are that old and were out there that long. They must have been born around the end of Aug. and I didn't spot momma until the week of Sept. 12.

They sure are cutie pies. I know that I'd fail miserably as a foster parent so I'm no help either.:)

That does it -- send me Pops!!! I think he'd make a fine addition to my tabby collection. Shame we live so far away ;)

Failed foster mom here, too. My first and only foster was in my home half an hour when I KNEW I could never let her go. And she is almost a year old, so I never had the bonding experience you have had caring for these little ones!!!

Being older than you first thought explains why they were hollering up a storm about humans at the beginning, doesn't it? Ha ha, they soon got over that!

Kim, say the word and he is yours. :D I don't know if he will fit the tabby collection that well though. In person he looks almost solid gray. The tabby marks really just show up in pictures.

I think a little solid gray would compliment the tabbies at catnappers house, don't you? Pops is just the cutiest thing!!

I had to quit taking kitties in because Chester and I both grieved so bad when they left. We both still miss Wally and Marty!

Cute, cute, CUTE!!!!! :D I'm glad that Twinks' test was negative!!! I'm surprised the vet insists on testing all 3 though. I think I would let the new owners decide on that one. It would be highly unusual for any of them to be positive and that one be negative ... unless they were separated for a length of time and separately exposed to a positive cat.

Anyway .... K&L took the words right out of my mouth in response to your fostering question!!! :D
