Good news (for once)

I didn't get the transfer to the Bed, Bath & Beyond in Wethersfield, as I requested. However, I am getting a transfer to the Manchester store (about 45 minutes one way from NH), which is alot closer to where I'll hopefully be living. It's gonna be a trek for the next couple of months from New Haven. But I'm living here rent free right now as I don't make alot at BB&B (about $150/week). The transfer will probably take place around the first of November. I'm starting at Petco next Tuesday. If I can swing commuting until I hear about my SSD, then I'll be all set. Both jobs can only offer me 15 hours a week, which is fine.

With the Petco job and the BB&B job, I'll make about $600/month gross. With my SSD, I'll have no problem.

Keep your fingers crossed. I just wish SSD didn't take so long (1-3 months).

Oh this sure is GOOD news! You so deserve it, Donna and I'm so happy for you. I'll keep my fingers crossed that the PetCo job/hours work out and that SSD money kicks in FAST! I have no idea what they do over there, well, becides DENY people's claims!!! :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

Great news...does this mean your SS will go through, but take 1 - 3 months?

That's a real positive up date !!!! 30 hrs a week will cut the mustard, and hopefully, SS will fall into place.
