Pugsley
My sister's lovely pug, Pugsley died on Wednesday. Though she wasn't my dog, she spent a lot of time with me, and we had many 'sleepovers'. She was a dog in a million.
Pugsley was adopted when she was about 5. She had suffered a broken leg and was dumped at the SPCA when her original owner found out that she needed surgery to fix the break. Rather than spend the money Puggie was given up. However, this proved to be a wonderful thing, as my family was able to adopt this wonderful, loving dog.
Pugsley had a real way with children and she loved people. Her best times were spent walking on the beach and having a bath.
There is an empty space in my heart that was once filled by Pugsley. While I will admit that I am a cat person, Pugsley was special enough to change my mind.

I'm so sorry for the loss of Pugsley.
We all understand the feeling of loosing a pet that isn't yours, yet it hurts just as bad as if they were.
RIP Pugsley... you will be missed.

Sorry to hear about the loss of Pugsley. Yes, the dogs don't have to be our own to hold a very special place in our hearts. At least Pugsley got to know the love of a good family, even though she had a rough start. Pugsley will be playing on the beach by the Rainbow Bridge.
