John Muir Inn cats

In September I went to Napa, Ca for the Christening of my great nephew. I stayed at the John Muir Inn and I had completely forgotten that they have resident kitties. I was sitting on a bench waiting for some other family members and this adorable kitty came running over to me.http://www.imagestation.com/picture/...f/ecb8d91a.jpg

And then I remembered that they also had a resident kitty at the front desk so I asked for him. He used to sleep in the "in box" on the counter - but they said he had gotten too big for the box. You can see where he sleeps now.

He was sound asleep and the girl behind the front desk turned on the printer to wake him up. You can see what he thought of the whole idea!

The black kitty is named Hershey - and the tiny little grey girl is his mother!!

What sweet kitties and such a nice amenity for the guests! :D

It's always nice to stay in a place that has resident cats. They sure are cute.:)

That's neat how some places have resident cats.. it makes it feel more homely. :) Cute kitties!

That is so nice! But turning on the printer to wake him up? He's not the first "little boy" to grow bigger than mommy!

I think that if I ever travelled , I would love to have a resident Cat to pet.
Along with My Angels who would of course accompany me on my travels.
Those are certainly Happy Wonderful Cats.

Have you found that you prefer to do business with those small businesses that have cats and dogs on their premises? I certainly do!!!!! :) I know that I fell for this one guy who I was talking to about completely renovating my bathroom at my old house because he had cats in his showroom! :) :)

I agree, it is nice to see resident cats, I wish more places had them. There is a hardware store in town that has one and it was a nice surprise to see the kitty roaming the store and greeting people, but I think she was tired of being handled, she kept running away and under things and meowing!

Kitties and B&Bs just go together...like milk and cookies! So nice of them to help make you feel welcome....When we stayed in Italy with Barbara and Siegmar there was a resident kitty....who wne to every unit each morning pretending to be starved for food and love. A very well fed....and loved kitty!
