My darling little orange baby is being a pain in the pattoootie!!! As you may know she has a pin in her back leg because of someone hitting her and crushing her leg. Well she is on medication for it, and up until recently didn't fuss with taking it. Now it takes two people to hold her still and one to get her to take it orally. We've tried mixing it with her wet food and everything. I'm at my wits end. :confused:
Ask your vet if the medication can be compounded and given as a transdermal cream. Then you'd just have rub it on the inside of her ear every day. I know tapazole and prozac can be given this way.
I hope you find a solution so Kasey isn't in pain.
Or maybe they can give it in a form where you can rub it on his paws.
That usually works for The Found Cats whom I can catch.
Can you get it in liquid form and squirt it into her with a syringe.
How many days does she have left on the medication?
