After reading your story, I have to wonder how you ended up in a shelter, but I'm happy you have a furrever home now with a meowmie who loves you.

You are a cat after our own heart. We had a maine coon that looked just like you--majestic and serene. He has crossed the rainbow bridge.
We are THRILLED that your humans found you that day when you were so young, thin and scraggly, at the shelter.........the mere thought of it breaks our heart.
But look at you now--so regal. I bet you are pampered everyday!!

Wow! You are one of the prettiest kitties I've ever seen! I love cats but Maine Coon and Abyssinian are my favorites. Most of my cats came from shelters too. I'm so glad your family rescued you and you have such a good home. Of course cats are Gods/Goddesses. Many know it too! Congratulations on being cat of the day!
Gaia you are indeed fotunate to have a Guardian who could see the skinny Cat in the cage, and could see the potential in you, and see the Magnificent Big Cat that you have become.
It just shows that with Love, TLC and Great Guardians how a former stray can be such a Handsome Furry Companion.

I can't imagine anyone surrendering a creature as lovng and magnificent as you, sweetheart...But I think you and your Mom found the perfect partner in each other...your happy homecoming was meant to be, that's for sure!:) And I have to agree with your Mom, you are one incredibly beautiful girl, inside and out! Gaia, you are gorgeous [meow-merrrrow, no word can adequately describe your beauty]. I am not much older than you and have a similar story -- deserted with my brother -- rescued, fostered and now I am at my fur~ever Palace with Norman, the King and our purr~ents, KatMa & Paw-Paw.
Neat-O that you live in a Palace with lots of other companion pets. Your humans are so lucky...

Please say a prayer for the late Anastasia De Sousa, only 18, who was shot to death on September 13th in Montreal, Canada at Dawson College. A hard day for all of who live in Montreal and for Canadians everywhere. We cannot imagine her family's grief at so tragic a loss.
