My Lil' Sunshine...

Despite all of our efforts to save this seven week old baby...today she passed on. I just don't understand. She was gaining weight, eating well, drinking well, playing....and this morning we found her laying over her water bowl with her face against the bars of the cage, dead. I tried so hard. I really did. I feel so horrible. My poor Lil' Sunshine. At least now she is with her siblings at the Rainbow Bridge. We will miss you sweet Sunshine.

I remember when Gina lost a few of her cats...two littermates died for no apparent reason, just a few weeks apart (if that).

Because the mom was in such bad shape when Gina took her in, the vet thought that the kittens might have had some deformity that was invisible...because they didn't get nourishment in the womb.

You DID do everything you could, and this is not your fault.

Poor little Sunshine - I do hope there is a Rainbow Bridge, and she and her little sibs are playing away!

They were all loved and cared for - and that is HUGE compared to what they would have had.

You did so much, and I know the kittens, ALL of them, appreciated the love and devotion. RIP, little one. And, special hugs for your human mommy.

I posted in the other thread as well, RIP dear little Sunshine. You were definitely a bright spot in Mommy's life during your short time on this earth.

Oh Tracy, talk about LES reading this. How my heart goes out to you at this sad time.

Lord knows, you tried your best. She just wasn't strong enough to overcome what ever illness she had. I'm so, so sorry. :(

Rest in Peace Lil' Sunshine and have fun up on the RB.

The New Kitten Angels have thier wings and are playing in the Baby Pet Area at the Pet Angel Fly In Movies.
There are slides, swings tunnels and bowls of everything a Kitten could want.
There are Older Pet Chaperones to watch over them, and cuddle then when the need arises.
Yu will be with your Baby Angels in a Better Place.

I'm so very sorry. I was heartbroken to read this. I know you did all you could to help her and at least that sweet little one knew she was loved.

I'm sorry that your Sunshine did not make it, but I hope you will feel comforting rays from this precious sweetheart for a long time, and know that Sunshine is united with siblings and at peace.

It is so sad to lose a little one. 3yrs ago, after only having Sylvia 2 days, she died of distemper. She was only 6 weeks old. Your precious Sunshine is in a wonderful place. She will always be healthy, no more pain and suffering. Sunshine knows that you tried so hard to help her and her littermates. Sleep softly sweet little ones...

Her short life was better for what you did give her. She was loved.

Ive been posting in this section for a few minutes, it's too sad to read and post any more, but I am so sorry for the loss of your dear sweet kitten. I have to say I think it may be because she was a female orange tabby. ask your vet about that. I had one and I was told orange tabbies are usually male, and my kitty had a degenerative brain disorder, and at 13 months old had to be put to sleep. I was also told that they usually only live up to maybe 3 months.


may the memories of all the kitties that have passed, comfort their humans.

Poor Sunshine.This is sad for this Tiny Baby.It's always so sad when a baby dies and they haven't had a chance to live for a while.I am so sorry.We know you did everything you could.She knew you loved her too.
