I just got this in an email, and if you love the Dalmatian breed please sign. The Dalmatian Club of America is suggesting that all Dalmatian puppies born deaf be destroyed. I'm appalled that they would even suggest something like this.I love this breed and i'd be very upset if this went through.

First of all, this petition starter needs to SPELL the breed right! D-A-L-M-A-T-I-*A*-N.

Do you think deaf animals have the right to live?
Yes, but I wholeheartedly understand the want to cull deaf dogs from the breeding program but that can be easily done by Neutering or spaying and selling the pups to a pet home. However, I have dealt with a uni dal and she was hard enough. Deaf dogs deserve a home that can care for them and know how to deal with that. Breeders should make sure their new homes WILL be patient and willing to learn and/or take classes to learn how to help the deaf dog, otherwards it is a sad life for a deaf dog.
