I know that you should, and I would if it weren't for the fact that he's champion sired and a purebreed, so I have no idea at this point, So I thought I'd ask you. It just seems like a loss if we neuter him...

Unless you plan on showing him, neuter him, PLEASE. It's not a loss if he's only going to be a family pet.Quote:

2.5 months, and yeah I was leaning more twords neutering him... I really don't want him humping my leg, lol
He could still hump your leg whether you neuter him or not ;), but yes, it prevents health problems and no worries about him ever running off.Quote:

Yes, please do get him neutered ^^
Leg-humping pretty much means he wants to dominate you and become pack leader, it doesn't really have anything to do with whether or not a dog in intact or not ^^
yes please neuter him..if you are interested in showing him thats great, but otherwise there is no need to leave him unaltered
Well, not exactly. Neutering lessens the chances of him running off to find a mate, but he could still run off. Being neutered didn't stop Delta from disappearing for a month.Quote:

Well, of course I meant the 2nd part, lol, cuz obviously any dog can run off..Quote:

some vets won't neuter until 6 months..all of my dogs were fixed at 6 months. :) but ask your vet at what age they will neuter your dog. :)
