Bull Update
Bull is doing better than anyone expected!!!! Mom said the day after we left him w/ her (last Thurs.) that he was up and dragging himself around the house which of course pulled his cathater (SP?) out so Mom fixed him up a Depends. Mom says he is now faster than she is and is trying more and more to stand up. He can get about three inches off the floor and trying for more. I can't wait until he's better enough to make the trip back home with us cuz the house just seems so empty without him.
Just thought I'd pop in and update and thank all of you guys for your prayers.

Cathy here's the original post : Please Pray
Now for the really really really really good news! BULL TOOK TWO STEPS ALL BY HIMSELF YESTERDAY! :D :D :D I was so happy to get that message last night I just about burst waiting on Dustin to get home from work! As Dustin said last night he's two steps closer to being back home with us.
Today he's going back to the vet to get the staples out of his back and for the vet to check on his progress. I'll try to update you guys sometime during the week. Thank you all again for keeping us in your prayers and thoughts.

Yikes! He's a lucky boy to have you! I'm glad he's doing better!

Bull is walking more and more everyday mom says and the vet was amazed with his progress. He didn't hold out much hope for Bull to ever walk again and here it is almost two weeks later and he's up and going. I'm just soo happy I couldn't possiblly put it in to words.

And a year later....
First let me say how sorry I am for neglecting my pet talk family. :o I'm a bad (busy) girl.
Now on to Bull:
He is doing wonderful. He's walking great though he still has a slight limp. That's here to stay I think. Everynow and then he needs help (getting on the couch/bed, getting in the car, walking on uneven ground, ect.) because his rear doesn't want to cooperate. Sometimes when he runs his back end kinda bunny hops instead but for a dog that had a 25% chance of ever walking again I think he's doing beyond fantastic. I love watching him at the dog park now because he'll try to chase the other dogs and they will do one of those hairpin turns that dogs do so well and Bull will go to follow and trip over his back feet, landing on his side. He'll just get up like "I meant to do that" and off he'll go again. Or he'll just look and the dog like "Show off. Now get back here." LOL It doesn't seem to bother him so I don't worry.
Thank you again for all your prayers
