I was wondering if anyone has used the web explorer called foxfire. The comcast guy said that it is more secure and pop ups are minimal. Just wanted to know if anyone knew about it. Thanks in advance! :)

You might want to revise the title of the thread to include Firefox. I haven't used it but I've seen several postings on this site by people who prefer it over Explorer. If you put it in the title, they (I can't remember who they are) may respond quicker.
Don't you mean Firefox.
I'm using Safari, so I don't have a clue, but Opera is good too. :)
Yes it's firefox. it is a more secure web browser. :D
We use it.
Yes I am so sorry lol I meant foxfire. I have had a migraine all day and just want to crawl under the blankets :(
I love Firefox! I hate Internet Exploder. It's not secure at all. That's how my last computer got fried. Too many holes in those Windows :p
Go to search and type in Firefox and you'll find several threads discussing it.
It's called a browser. Internet Explorer is a web browser, as is Firefox, Opera, Mozilla, etc.
I use it. I find it much more efficient than IE. Hardly any pop-ups, tabbed feature, and It's much faster to me.
I prefer to use Firefox too. :)
I use FireFox and love it! Like others have said, less pop ups, tabbed browsing, the ability to download themes and extensions etc. I also find it much faster than IE, both for starting up and searching.
I downloaded it and it is way faster then explorer. Thanks for all you guys input! :)Quote:

im stuck back with stupid Internet Explorer and i realize how much faster and better FireFox is everytime.
I use firefox because its downloads are so much faster and its tabbed browsing is so much more efficient. Internet Explorers latest version integrates a lot of the same features, but it still has a problem displaying web pages optimized for a Mozilla platform. Firefox is a lot more versitile of a browser in my opinion, as it seems to displays pages with fewer errors.
Firefox RULES! :D
