A Little Help Is All We Need!!

WE HAVE POSTED SEVERAL THREADS REAGARDING THE STORY OF THE LITTLE DEAF WHITE KITTEN THAT WAS TO BE EUTHANIZED THIS MORNING. WELL, WE DID IT! THE LADY AT RICHLAND COUNTY ANIMAL CONTROL HAS AGREED TO HOLD THE EIGHT KITTENS INCLUDING THE LITTLE DEAF WHITE ONE UNTIL TOMORROW WHEN I CAN GET THERE. ALL WE NEED NOW ARE THE FUNDS. SO I AM POSTING THREADS IN EVERY CATAGORY TO BEG FOR EVERYBODY'S HELP. PLEASE GO TO MY WEBSITE AND DONATE...EVEN IF IT IS JUST A DOLLAR...IT WILL HELP US PAY FOR THE TRIP AND PULLING THESE KITTENS. WE NEED A TOTAL OF $170.00 US DOLLARS. PLUS THE COST OF THE VET BILL. I CAN HANDLE THE GAS PART. BUT THAT IS GOING TO BE ABOUT $100.00 USD. IT IS A FOUR AND A HALF HOUR DRIVE TO THE SHELTER FROM WHERE WE ARE. PLEASE HELP US SO WE CAN GO GET THESE BABIES.

Hello!!! I am a new member of the forum and i do not know about the story! Why do they want to put down a deaf kitten? Are there any other health problems? Because as far as i know a cat can lead a perfectly normal life with an affectionate family! I am really sorry that i cannot help because i live in Greece and it is very difficult to donate money to other countries! But please, whatever happens, don't fortget to update!

Hi Niva2gr and welcome to Pet Talk! Tracy was able to save those kittens plus a few more. You can read the update at this link IL Shelter Kittens. I believe the deaf kitten along with the others were going to be put down because of so many incoming homeless kittens and not enough space or adopters available.

She is now needing to raise money to get them spayed/neutered and vaccinated.

I hope you hang around here at PT and tell us more about yourself and any pets you may have.

I previously posted a thread called "Hmm...". It was stating that I was starting a fundraiser for the Lil' Dirty Dozen" on Ebay. I have started it today. Many people have helped with this couse. I have about five people mailing me items that I will be able to post on Ebay to sell and use the money for the kittens. Others are sending me things that I can sell at a yard sale. And others are sending me things the kits need for themselves. I am so grateful to all of you for your help and support! I hope before I know it that these kits are better, altered, vaccinated, and adopted out so I can help the next bunch....I can't wait for my next mission!!
