How do you say your name? (Voice Clips, too!)

So, we had one of these for our pets, so let's have one for ourselves :D. You say my name..
Bree-anna (but spelled Briana of course)

Mine's simple, Zar-ah :)

I just had to laugh at this as I always said my name is like saying:

Is a bell ............LOL or .......Is a belle much cuter LOL

Ash-lee, not too difficult ;)

Tan (as in sun tan) ya Tanya :D not Tonya :mad: lol

Everybody's always pronouncing my name wrong.. :rolleyes: I get frustrated.

Same here. If I had a penny for everytime I'm called Zair-argh I would be living a multi-million pound mansion :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :p

Mine's pretty hard to mess up, since it's so short, although I do get asked if I spell Jill with a "J" or a "G." :D

lol as my name gets more common and rarly have to correct people anymore, but I used to have to correct EVERYONE, or people would not even try lol

its Shayna, and its pronounced the way its spelled Shay-nuh. not "Shianna" for heaven sakes dont ever call me "Shianna" I have been called that SOOO many times throughout my life lol I dont even know how that heck you get Shianna out of my name lol

Mine is pretty simple...Meg...but I always get asked if I'm sure my name is not Margaret or Megan....now did I just say my name was Meg...I know it's not Margaret or Megan :rolleyes:

Mine is difficult for non-Dutch-speaking people...! During our 2 years stay in the USA, not 1 person pronounced ot correctly... :(

So it is LUT The problem is that the "u" is NOT pronouced like the "ue" in "due"!
For those who ever learned some German, the "u" in my name is pronouced exactly like the¨ü" ("u" with "umlaut" on it( two dots).
Maybe we better start a thread where we actually pronounce our name, so everybody can hear it!
