Sink smell!!

For some reason, the bathroom sink suddenly SMELLS HORRIBLE! One second it was fine, and then suddenly the entire house smells. I look for the source, and it's the bathroom sink. The pipes underneath smell just terrible. I know they've been leaking a bit for the past couple of weeks, but otherwise the pipes are only 6 months old.

The only smelly thing I washed off in the sink was the mouse cage yesterday, but I threw everything out of it first.

What's happening?! How do I fix it?! It really STINKS!!!

Pour bleach down it, or drain cleaner. Then rinse it out a few times, there's obviously some gunk in there that needs to go!

You can also try pouring lemon juice down the drain.

Thanks guys! The smell went away on it's own but I poured some bleach down there anyways.
