who to contact when there is a fire?

My nieces & nephews house just burnt down to the ground. Thank god everyone is ok and alive. They were out of town visiting the kids father, my brother and she just got a phone call from the town firefighters. It happened this morning, no cause is known yet.
The ferrets were not so lucky, at least the firefighter told her that he didn't even know they were in the house so we think they must not of made it. There is NOTHING left.

I can't gt a hold of any other family members. We don't know what to do.

She is calling red cross right now, I did know that one. But does anyone know of any other places that will help?

The only one I can think of may be the salvation army? They may be able to help. I am so sorry that this happened Sue, so sad ((((hugs)))) I will keep them in my prayers.

They live in Auburn, NY (I live in Macedon)

Try calling the local churches in your area. I know from personal experience that they can help, no matter how little or how much it is.

Salvation Army and Goodwill also come to mind.

The Red Cross may also be able to help

They have no insurance. :( It was a house that they were renting but they still didn't even have renters insurance.
