Does anybody feed their cats a dental cat food? I was feeding the cats T/D, but it has by-products & I try to stay away from stuff like that.
Is there anyother kind of dental cat food out there?
Thanks!

Hill's Medical Dental, in a pink and white bag - I was using it, but had to switch everyone over to Urinary Tract food a week later.
Also ask a naturopathic vet - there are a few out there!

Our vet dentist said "forget that "dental " food. The best thing is to brush your cats teeth."
My husband brushes 7 of our 8(Raven has no teeth). It does not thrill them, but it has helped with the tartar build up. And yearly cleanings, too.
I tried the TD, but its too big for a lot of the Found Cats to eat.
The food ends up at the bottom of the bowl, and nobody touches it.
Very expensive too.
Hard to find too.
