I'm pretty sure that catnip is safe for all ages, but I think cats have to be a few months old before catnip has any effect on them. The toys should be fine. :)
I dont think that a kitten will react to Cat Nip either.
I think they have to be a bit older, to get high.

They will be fine, but probably will not react to the catnip.
Josie is just now starting to react to catnip and she is almost 3 years old! :eek:
Kittens need to be a minimum of 4 months before they will *maybe* have any reaction to catnip but it is safe for all ages. It's intergrated into so many toys now that it is hard to avoid it.Quote:
