Alvin has joined Simon

Hello again,
My sweet little gerbil Alvin died today. He joins his brother Simon, who died about 10 days ago, over the rainbow bridge.
Though it's never easy to admit, Alvin was my favorite of all our gerbils. He was friendly and had a very kind face.
He was over 3 years old and had slowed down a lot recently, and I think that losing Simon, his cage mate for most of his life probably took what was left of his strength.
I'm very sad now, losing Simon and Alvin so close together is quite upsetting. I already miss seeing Alvin's sweet face.

yeah i am so sory was he old? i just resently lost my guinae pig it hurts :(

I'm so sorry. I know that we finally stopped getting hamsters because their little lives were too short and we grieved so badly. Alvin certainly lived a long life and I know he was very much loved. :(

I totally know how you feel since I just lost my gerbil Chocolate today.
She was about 3 years old too which is old for a gerbil.
Now she is again with her sister Brownie.
It must be really hard for you to lose both of your gerbils in such a short time.
