Hello everyone...
My Papa, (mom's father) is in the hospital (since Sunday), because of a heart attack. :( He's had one other heart attack before, and it was pretty bad, don't really know all of the specific details.
As of last June (I think) he turned 79. :eek: So, please keep my Papa in your thoughts, and in your prayers. I'm very worried and concerend about him.

Sarah, your Papa must be very proud of you. How sweet of you to come here with your concern for him. I hope that you will tell him how much he means to you. I never fully expressed that nor showed my grandpa that and I still regret it.
Your Papa sounds like a very strong person. I look up to his generation for their bravery when all seems so hopeless!!! I will certainly pray for him and his family. It doesn't matter how old a person is , heart attacks are scary!!!!! Right? So, don't let his age distract you from feeling optimistic. Prayer is a wonderful bond that provides us with HOPE!!!! I read your post above, it must be working.

Sara we will worry and pray right along with you. Nowadays there is much that can be done for folks with heart problems. I hope you will get some encouraging news very soon. (((hugs)))

Sarah, I am happy to send a prayer for your grandfather (I called my dad's father "Papa" too, but we pronounced it as "PaaPaa". I do hope that he will get better in no time.

Thank you all so very much! My mother talked to my Grammy, (her mother) and he is doing 'just okay'... I really hope the 'ok' turns into a 'He's doing much better'... I really hope so. And thank to all of you that have been praying for him.
Today my mom talked to my uncle (one of her 5 brothers!), in the car, while I was in the pet store getting some new stuff for the girlies... he's doing about the same. :( :(
