Converting files........help needed

im trying to convert a .wav file into .avi file but cant seem to figure it out :rolleyes: any help would be appreciated, i tried uploaing it to youtube and yousendit but no luck still .wav............i recorded audio in the mike on the comp with the basic program.....you know the one in programs/accesories/entertainment/sound recording.......but it only saves as wav........

how can i change it?? do i need a program?? is there anything downloadable for free out there?? any suggestions??

You need to download Bink and Smacker. I don't have a link at this moment.... google it and download it. Its an easy freeware program.
