Lizzie's Eyes

Of course I am partial - but I really think that my Lizzie has the prettiest cat eyes I have ever seen :D Laura's Babies likes them too!! So, I have some new and not-so-new pictures of my pretty Lizzie. I think they are pretty largely because of her markings...it looks like she is wearing eyeliner. She has the cutest expressions, too. Here is a sampling of eyes...

This one is silly - she is not happy about seeing the camera. In fact, she HATES having her picture taken..

These next two make me giggle - and I see this view quite often. She is not yawning or talking - she is suckling the air. She does this whenver she is tired - climbs into her fleece bad (her sucky) and starts purring and licking the fleece. Soon she picks up her head and does THIS. She has her eyes open but is not really focusing on anything - like she is already asleep!! We always laugh at her but she does not respond and just purrs and suckles. So funny!!

Lizzie has grown to be such a sweetheart and a joy to be around. Does anyone remember when I thought I had an ice princess who would never want affection? Not anymore! She does not like being held, but is loving and oh-so-sensitive. She comes running if she hears a slightly raised voice or if I am sick with a migraine. At night, she comes to our pillows for lots of scritches and sometimes curls up on hubby's pillow to "groom" his head!! She gets along with her siblings - well all but Boomer as she still is miss hissy pants around him. She is a happy baby sister and snuggly with the others though. I am so glad to have my Lizzie!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! There she IS!! With her beautiful, awesome eyes!! Did I ever say I LOVE HER EYES??? She is such a stunning lady cat now that she is all grown up and it is wonderful to hear the ice princess has melted! Give her rubs for me.

Lizzie is beautiful. That is a great picture of her with her tongue out. Did you know a cats sense of smell is through their mouth. That's why their mouth opens after they sniff something.

It's so great to see Lizzie and to hear that she is not an ice princess anymore! She sure is a pretty girl and yes, she has such beautiful eyes.

I had to laugh about her being a head groomer. How cute!
