does cow tipping actually "hurt" the cows?
From my husband who grew up on a dairy farm:
Cow tipping is a joke. It does not exist. There are a couple of reasons why cow tipping doesn't happen:
1. Cows sleep lying down.
2. Cows are too heavy for a group of people to push over.
3. If you try to push one over, she will move out of the way.
4. Attempting to tip a bull is hazardous to your health. (Make sure your life insurance premiums are paid up.--seriously...) :D
haha! thanks! i just wondered because someone told me cows can die if it's done. someone told me it doesn't hurt them. i've got news for them!LOL
What exactly is cow tipping anyway?
My friend's dad went cowtipping a long time ago and the farmer shot him in the leg. O_OQuote:

That's like the biggest thing in WI. People claiming to go cow tipping. Cow tipping is when you supposedly go out in a field at night when the cows are sleeping and push them over. Of course it never happens the way they tell others.
