Fun Pet Talk Research

well, I'm bored today, and stuck in a cast so decided to do something fun with pet talk .. :D I don't expect anyone to respond or find this fun.

anyway, one of them, I figured I'm 2,586th member! (01/03/03) wow, to see I'm really far away (and joined a looong time ago) from as stated of today, 9,256 members. :o a lot of members has been cleaned out and deleted though.

this "didn't you know?" fun part, on YOUR members list page - I never realize tomkatzid signed up a day before me & cathybogart (aka wolfchan to some of you) registered five days after me (if that's the right cathy)..

I love to "math-ize" so, did two more, I picked the highest cat-poster, catmandu - 2,275th! not a while before me, 09/10th/02. on his page, neko1 registered just on exact same day as catmandu but comes in 2,274th. hmm, quite popular on that page/week too, Cookiebaker on 3rd, Cataholic on 4th and RICHARD, 5th.

highest dog-poster, Kfamr - 1,540th! (01/15th/02) Cincy's Mom on the very same day too, before her - 1,539th. also, K & L was five days before both.

and highest pet-poster.. couldn't figure out who, but picked, in honor of missy hoppy who started this site - 1st! :eek: ;) (her dad, Paul - 1st and her mum, Karen - 2nd).

and also another, I checked if anybody joined on my birthdate from 2000 - 2005 .. no famed pet talkers did. :D nobody registered on my birthday in 2001. :o :cool:

I know some of you won't care but this just was fun to know. :p because, when you're bored, you'll find some/anything to do, right? and how I love facts.

first, click > members list > join date, find yours. see, I'm on 87th page, and there's 30 usernames on each page, right? so, 30 x 86 (86th - last page of whole 30) = 2580.. then, I'm 6th in the list on 87th page so, you plus that! :)

Yup! Goldenluv was right before me!

I was the 5,508th! (joined 4/03/05)

CagneyDog registered 3 days before me, furrykidsmother, crsvstang and Lobodeb right after!

oh Gina........ you really got me into this so i looked and apparently i´m member # 5,495........... LOL my fave mumber is 5 !!! and i got two!!

i joined on 3-31-06 just as cagneydog, k9krazee and lobodeb how cool!!

I am the 6159th member! Wow :D I noticed Jessika was about 10 or so before me:)

i just had to quote myself if you add 5 + 4 + 9 + 5 (my member numbers)
you get 23 adn if you add 2 + 3 you get well i get ..........5!!!

I went aww when I saw 5 in mine, lol. well, I don't mind, 5 is the number of what family member I have. lame excuse. :p

pretty cool, in how a lot of members number and less than 1/9 of famed pet talkers here, still a lot of people we know are close to each other!

Had to laugh at you being bored enough to do this Gina, but then I find myself trying it out:o:p

I was the 1620th person to join PT (joined 3-5-02)... cfuh joined the same day I did &Tubby & Peanuts mom joined 7 days before me.

LOL! Me too. :D There's just something we've all forgotten about .... a lot of members have been deleted since; we've had a few spring cleanings over the years. As far as I remember, there were about 3000 members when I joined, but I am no. 1455 on the list - if I did this right. ;) So about half of them is gone.

oh yeah, I remember when I first registered, first thing I saw was most users ever online was 123, 01-03-2003.. - same day I first met pet talk and was here for only a month then left for over a year ... (because someone bashed, thought I was a backyard breeder) :eek: and when I came back, it was still 123! for about four or five months more, then it finally went up to 167-something. so.. the 123 record sticked for about 17 months!

it was nothing to me until I noticed a new record keep coming up every other month or so now. :o
