GRADUATION at New Mexico State University!

I remember that wonderful day, almost 20 years ago, that I walked across that stage! Read in the paper this morning that the graduation ceremonies at my alma mater were cancelled yesterday because of the terrible rain!!! How horrible to be unable to get that diploma in the spotlight!!! the article said that they picked them from a concession stand in the stadium!! How bad is that?? :o This was the first outdoor graduation ever, and since the coliseum is under renovation right now, that was their only option! :(

Have to tell u tho, it started out kinda sCaRy:( ...
while i was getting ready this morning (mom, dad, sis weren't here yet) that double trouble bun o' mine...jumped ON THE TABLE(!!)--guess she saw/smelled her yogurt treats up there...anyways, she found my cold pack--knocked it into the floor and nibbled it...:eek:BLUE STUFF EVERYWHERE:eek: (but no evidence that she actually ate any, and of course it didn't say on the pkg whether or not it was non-toxic)...just about gave me a hrt attk..called the vet no answer...called again they gave me the # for poison cntrl...LUCKILY(!!) the brand I had was non-toxic!!! (thank you, God!!!!) She seems to be doing GREAT! Have no idea how she managed to get on the table tho...??!!
anywho, thanks again....extra spcial thanks to those who sent cards and/or gifts ;)

It doesn't seem like it has only been 3 years since I finished college....and I miss the days of staying up late chatting with my roomies, sleepin in late and skipping classes when it was just too nice to be inside. Don't miss the hours and hours of labs ( I was a Chemistry major) and or other homework, and hey, my favorite roomie is now my husband :) too bad we can't stay up late chattin'...we have to get up for work :)
