"slippery" ??????
I think I know why they call it a slipper.
Well, they are not slippers in the true sense of the word...
They are my favorite footwear in the world.
Bertula makes them....they are those sandals that EVERYONE wears .
My first pair were absolutely painful for the first week I wore them. I
learned to suffer thru the pain and soon they were like my own feet.
I loved those shoes.
Ed loved those shoes.
Then one sad day, I left them on the porch and they were chewed up by the dogs.....I was going to send them out to be rebuilt....one of the Grand services offered by the company that makes them.... :(
I got a new pair and was totally happy about it!
I am besides myself with the new pair.......
I came home today and slipped my foot into the left shoe and....
ED has PUKED into the sandal...
He did not hit the straps....
he hit the sole/bed of the shoe......making sure I did not find it.....
Cat puke is cold, slippery and made up of gastric juices that feel....
SLIPPERY!
So now you know the origin or the word "SLIPPERY"....

LOL :D . Just last weekend Byron stepped right into a cat-puke/hair ball surprise - before his first cup of coffee. . Neither one of us were amused.
The next morning, when he did the same thing all over again - I had to hide in the kitchen so I could laugh. :p :p
