Yup, looks like a Turkish Angora to me!! I used to have one and she was the most beautiful long haired black kitty with a sweet personality and roaring purr to match.
Oh, hes gorgeous!! He reminds me of my kitty Jasper, who was also a rescue, and we've had many people ask us if hes a Turkish Angora!

He is beautiful!!!
Cat breed: pretty!
Hi Klasikrkade,
Your cat looks EXACTLY like mine, and since I first saw a pic of a Turkish Angora I've always claimed my cat to be so. However most ppl are sceptic since I got my cat from a cattery full of abandoned and stray cats. Ppl (and I myself to be honest) could not believe I actually managed to get a pure breed from a cattery
Your cat (and mine) seem to have all the Turkish Angora traits, i.e correct me if I'm wrong: they're white (TA's are most commonly white), have somewhat large ears, have tufts of hair coming out of their paws, and a bushy tail. I've read that it is common that TA'S like heights quite a lot (even more than the usual cats), and that is the only trait my cat does not share with other TA's.
I'll try to post an image, as soon as I get the hang of it

Please can anyone identify whether he's a turkish angora or not?
